Williams College and Morgan Stanley
to be Honored at Access to Success Dinner
Cristo Rey New York High School’s Access to Success Dinner will be held on Monday, November 5, 2018 at the University Club (1 W. 54th Street, NY, NY).
Five years ago, Cristo Rey New York High School (CRNYHS) inaugurated the “Access to Success” dinner to promote the good work and vision of Cristo Rey. Each year, the school honors a collegiate partner and corporate sponsor that have been instrumental in fostering students’ success. This year, Cristo Rey New York will honor Williams College and Morgan Stanley for their commitment to providing opportunities for first generation students from low-income backgrounds.
Five CRNYHS alumni have enrolled at Williams; one has graduated and the four others are on track to graduate. With substantial financial aid packages and supportive academic resources, Williams is making college access and college success realities for CRNYHS students.
“I'm grateful for Williams' ongoing commitment to ensure that Cristo Rey NY students have access to the tools and support needed to thrive. It's my hope that even more Cristo Rey students will be able to experience the transformative power of a Williams education” says Mollie Quinn, CRNYHS Director of College Guidance.
Morgan Stanley has partnered with CRNYHS since 2012 to provide a unique work experience for students. This support has helped twenty-two students earn forty percent of the cost of their high school education while gaining valuable professional experience.
Past honorees of the event include: Credit Suisse, Skadden Arps, and the Capital Group, as well as Fordham, Holy Cross, Georgetown, Le Moyne.
