Caring for the whole student, we believe that involvement in extracurriculars is essential to continuing to form talented, well-rounded, and interesting individuals.

Art & Urban Exploration

A group that fosters creativity and self-expression through artist workshops, excursions to museums and galleries, and other creative outlets

Baking

Have a sweeter life as you and classmates create delectable dishes to feast on and share as in-the-making master chefs practice their craft. 

Big Sibs Program

A coalition of upperclassmen who look after their CRNY “Little Sibs” and join the 9th and 10th graders in their homerooms, on retreat, and throughout their Cristo Rey journeys.

An arena for friendly competition (and maybe some  deep rivalries) as students hone their craft of the world’s most famous game.

 Cristo Rey’s musical supergroup performs at events, masses, and musical showcases.

Comic Book 

Share your passions for visual storytelling in a space to geek out over your favorite comics, manga, and graphic novels.

Cooking

Baking is a science but cooking is an art - become an artist in the kitchen as you craft masterpieces that you’ll make (and impress with) the rest of your life.

Dance

Cristo Rey’s Hispanic Heritage Night, Black History Month Celebration, and annual Dance Showcase are all populated by our talented dance team. 

Drama and Improv

Sister Jude’s acting troupe that performs an annual Christmas improv comedy show and brings to life the spring drama. 

Gardening

 A group of green-thumbed students practicing a love of nature, gardening, green living, planting, flowers, the environment, and making our community (and planet!) beautiful.

Origami

club dedicated to the craft of origami. Students will learn and teach others how to fold origami and share this unique art form. Students will discover a new or already enjoyed leisure activity that can also improve spatial learning.

Photography

Our Lions are learning the photography 101, learning how to use editing software to make their photos stand out . 

Science

 A group of students who learn and then put into action scientific concepts and experimentations with the help of organizations and colleges who partner with us. 

Social Justice Club

 A group of students committed to learning about and acting against injustice in the world.

Student Ambassdors

Be a school leader and ambassador. Host student visitors, give tours to school visitors, attend area schools as a CRNYHS representative, be a student representative at various school events

Student Council 

Student council both helps foster spirit and community through events, games, initiatives, and spirit building as well as representing student voices to administrators in regards to rules, policy, and student well-being. 

Wild Heart Society

Not only a safe space for sharing the female experience, but also a movement that looks to inform, educate, and empower the community on feminist issues and advocacy.
