COLLEGE GUIDANCE
OFFICE
Nearly 100% of Cristo Rey New York High School graduates attend a four-year college after graduation. Our College Counseling staff is committed to providing our students and their families with the necessary knowledge and resources to navigate the college application process easily and successfully.
Our staff works individually with each student and family, ensuring that every student makes the best choice for college; academically, financially, and socially. Our 16:1 student-to-counselor ratio allows each counselor to work closely with juniors and seniors. Parents are also required to attend parent nights in the spring of junior year and fall of senior year and will attend periodic individual meetings with parents throughout the school year.

CRNYHS sets an annual goal for every student to set foot on at least one college campus before their senior year, and has met this goal for the last six years. The junior class travels on a three-day, two-night trip to college campuses, seeing a range of schools in order to identify what they are looking for in a college.
