Tuition & Financial Aid

Cristo Rey New York High School serves students who desire a college prep education but could not otherwise afford to attend a private high school.

  • All students admitted to CRNYHS must demonstrate financial need by meeting the income criteria of the Cristo Rey Network, the national organization that sets the standards for Cristo Rey schools.

  •  CRNYHS is to serve families with limited financial resources, the Financial Aid application is used to determine admissions eligibility in regards to the family income. 

  • The application is also used to determine if a family qualifies for additional financial aid through the school. 

  • All students accepted to CRNYHS must complete an application for financial aid during the admission process.

  • Families that filed taxes need 2022 Complete Tax return,  W-2 or 1099.  

  • Families that do not file need a budget Letter, Snap Assistance, unemployment letter, etc.

  • Financial aid packages are mailed along with the decision letter. 

  • Students may enter with renewable scholarships previously earned from outside organizations, such as Student Sponser Program NYC (SSP) and The inner city Scholarship Fund

  • If the student receives a scholarship from another outside organization, please contact the office of admissions, where we will guide you through the process of applying the funds to the student’s tuition account. 

  • Corporate Work Study Program:  All Cristo Rey students work throughout their four years of high school, earning approximately 40% of the cost of their education while also gaining valuable business experience and building their resume.   • Tuition: CRNYHS requires a contribution for tuition from each family.  The amount of tuition for each student is determined based on their family’s annual income. The scale for tuition will range from $800 per year to $2000 per year.​​
