Cristo Rey New York exclusively serves students who desire a college prep education but could not otherwise afford the rising costs of private school tuition in our area.
Although the approximate cost to educate a Cristo Rey New York student is $23,000 per student per year, this is NOT the cost that families are expected to pay.
The sliding scale for tuition will range from $800 per year to $2000 per year
All students admitted to Cristo Rey must demonstrate financial need by meeting the income criteria of the Cristo Rey Network. A Cristo Rey New York education is made possible by a unique blend of fundraising, tuition, Scholarships, and our innovative Corporate Work Study program.
FAMILY CONTRIBUTION
The Corporate Work Study program places students in entry-level corporate jobs in area partner businesses as well as nonprofit organizations, where they work one day each week, gaining professional corporate work experience and developing life skills.
Families make an affordable "family contribution" of $55 - $200 per month for 10 months ($800 - $2000 annually) toward tuition. The family contribution will be determined according to the income and household size. All families must complete a financial determination application as part of the admission process. Every possible effort will be made to make a CRNYHS education affordable to those who qualify and wish to attend.
Please remember to return to your dashboard after you submit your FACTS application, as CRNYHS requires you to upload additional tax documentation including:

Most recent W-2s for all jobs held by contributing adults in the household

A Visa or MasterCard for the $45 FACTS application fee
FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION
Most families are able to complete the financial aid application on FACTS in under 30 minutes. The application can be shared with any other private schools that also use FACTS. Simply use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools.

In PowerSchool, you will be asked to enter your household size and gross income.
Upon acceptance and if intending to enroll at Cristo Rey New York, families must complete the financial aid application. The FACTS application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete, is mobile-friendly, and allows you to save your progress and return at any time.
