CRNYHS uses a third party service, FACTS , to determine eligibility and family contribution. All applicants are required to submit their family's federal income tax return through the third party provider. You are also required to submit your parent(s) or guardian(s) W-2 Form to verify your most recent annual income. If you do not file an income tax return or if you do not receive a Form W-2, please contact the admissions team to discuss alternate forms of income documents that may be submitted.

ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL FEES OR COSTS?

Costs not included in tuition are: uniform, technology, replacement costs for lost books, unreturned extracurricular activities items, grade level fees.

ARE TUITION PAYMENT PLANS AVAILABLE?

Tuition will be paid in ten monthly payments from August through May. Should your family experience an unexpected hardship which affects your ability to pay tuition, please contact the school.

Apply for Financial Aid

As part of the application process, all families who are applying to Cristo Rey New York are required to complete the FACTS application for financial aid. This step allows us to review your household income and determine your tuition amount. Once the financial aid application is reviewed, you will receive a tuition letter with your family’s annual contribution.

The FACTS application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete, is mobile-friendly, and allows you to save your progress and return at any time.

Cristo Rey New York exclusively serves students who desire a college prep education but could not otherwise afford the rising costs of private school tuition in our area.

Although the approximate cost to educate a Cristo Rey New York student is $25,000 per student per year, this is NOT the cost that families are expected to pay.

The sliding scale for tuition will range from $800 per year to $2000 per year

All students admitted to Cristo Rey must demonstrate financial need by meeting the income criteria of the Cristo Rey Network. A Cristo Rey New York education is made possible by a unique blend of fundraising, tuition, Scholarships, and our innovative Corporate Work Study

Family Contribution

The Corporate Work Study program places students in entry-level corporate jobs in area partner businesses as well as nonprofit organizations, where they work one day each week, gaining professional corporate work experience and developing life skills.

Families make an affordable "family contribution" of $55 - $200 per month for 10 months ($800 - $2000 annually) toward tuition. The family contribution will be determined according to the income and household size. All families must complete a financial determination application as part of the admission process. Every possible effort will be made to make a CRNYHS education affordable to those who qualify and wish to attend.

Please remember to return to your dashboard after you submit your FACTS application, as CRNYHS requires you to upload additional tax documentation including:

A copy of 2024 tax return (form 1040)
Most recent W-2s for all jobs held by contributing adults in the household
Proof of other forms of income (if applicable)
A Visa or MasterCard for the $45 FACTS application fee

FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION

Most families are able to complete the financial aid application on FACTS in under 30 minutes. The application can be shared with any other private schools that also use FACTS. Simply use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools.
