Tuition & Financial Aid
Cristo Rey New York High School serves students who desire a college prep education but could not otherwise afford to attend a private high school.

All students admitted to CRNYHS must demonstrate financial need by meeting the income criteria of the Cristo Rey Network, the national organization which sets the standards for Cristo Rey schools. A Cristo Rey Jesuit education is made possible by a unique blend of fundraising, tuition, and our unique corporate work-study program:

-
Corporate Work Study Program: All Cristo Rey students work throughout their four years of high school, earning approximately 40% of the cost of their education while also gaining valuable business experience and building their resume. Learn more about Cristo Rey Corporate Work-Study Program here.
-
Tuition: CRNYHS requires a contribution for tuition from each family. The amount of tuition for each student is determined based on their family’s annual income. The scale for tuition will range from $800 per year to $2000 per year .
-
Fundraising: The Cristo Rey New York High School advancement team raises money so that every student receives a scholarship that covers 50% of the cost of education.
Tuition FAQ

HOW WILL MY FAMILY’S TUITION BE DETERMINED?

All applicants are required to submit a financial aid application via FACTS. The family is required to submit your W-2 Form and most recent 2021 Tax Return to verify your most recent annual income. If you do not file an income tax return or if you do not receive a Form W-2, please contact the admissions office to discuss alternate forms of income documents that you may submit.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I AM FINANCIALLY ELIGIBLE FOR CRNYHS?

For admissions to the 2023-2024 school year, your family’s annual household income generally may not exceed the amount shown below in the first column for your household size. A limited number of students whose income does not exceed the amount shown in the second column may also be admitted to the Class of 2026.
